Rule of 8

The easiest way to remember the 8 times tables is to test yourself over and over again.  There is a pattern like those of 6, but with a different number order.
The multiples of 8 will always end in 8, 6, 4, 2, 0.  In that order.

Before you watch the movie try doing the entire times table of 8.  How far did you go?

Check your answers on the HOME page, then watch the movie.
Did the movie help you remember your 8s?  Try watching it again and sing along to really help you remember.

WORD PROBLEM: Jane wants to buy valintine's day cards for her grade.  There are 4 third grades in her school.  In each third grade there are 16 kids.  How many cards should she buy for the entire third grade?

*hint: you can use different numbers to answer this problem not just the ones given.  Think how the numbers, of 4 and 16, can be in the 8 times table
